Choose one page in your sketchbook. You will do all 3 bellringers this week on this one page. Draw the images I show you from these images of carved tiles. Overlap and integrate the drawings from day to day. At the end of the week you will have combined several images.
Here is Mrs. Nadig's example of what we are doing today. I'm looking forward to seeing your original designs based on my two criteria below. Today's Challenge: Today you will make a computer-generated design on QueekyPaint, a free website.
2 CRITERIA: *Your design must contain circles and/or rectangles. (remember asymmetrical, symmetrical, and radial balance from Monday's activity.) *About 50% of the positive or negative spaces must be shaded in black. (50% white, 50% black) When you are finished with your design, please look at the handout for directions on taking a screen shot and emailing me the image! Have fun! http://www.queeky.com/app http://m.authorstream.com/presentation/brwneyedgirl-112034-beautiful-soap-carvings-art-flowers-carvings1099-entertainment-ppt-powerpoint/ Let's yarn bomb a tree in the courtyard. http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2013/10/a-yarn-bombed-tree-squid/ http://storycorps.org/animation/eyes-on-the-stars/ Listen to the storycorp interview. For a future relief plaster project, you will need to interview a friend or family member and create your artwork based on the information you gather. Listen to the interviewer. Maybe through taking art classes you will learn to look at ordinary every day things in your life appreciate them, and maybe even capture those things you see in photographs.
